those who are Samaritan Acts of New Orleans The Organization: The Samaritan Multi-services Centered on Living Foundation & Associates, Inc. (SMCL) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that was established to improve the quality of life of our veterans, those who are disabled or those who are economically disadvantaged in the New Orleans community and South Louisiana. As our founder and president, Julius Lee, would say, “we can to do a whole lot with just a little.” It is in that spirit, that we have been able to serve our community. The SMCL has two main components: the Paralympic Sport Club of New Orleans and the Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO).
